Runway Report: Markus Lupfer SS19

There is a bit of a recipe to Markus Lupfer now, and we’re quite happy with it. He manages to serve up exactly what we want and need; plentiful of sweats, lace and sequinned bombers, and casual knits. His SS19 collection boasted an assortment of patchworked fabrics constructed into feminine silhouettes and styled with his signature, lust-worthy accessories. Colors that oozed out the show mimicked a handful of bubblegum flavors.

A baby blue and pale pink, sequinned a-line skirt shimmered in the spotlights, styled with a monochrome sleeveless vest, and tulle wrap shoes. This pretty ensemble was followed by a sleeveless, lavender wrapped top with embellishment, paired with a tiny print, pleated midi skirt, and matchy-matchy high-heels. If you’re wondering where the casual bites were, fret not. A dark chocolate and pink printed, denim combo offered a laid-back option, in case you fancied something sweeter.

If next season is set out to be this edible looking, we will happily start putting our candy order in now.
